Tera's wish

list of fives

Oh! I love this exercise! I am so excited to share it with you. It can be done in a journal, or just on a piece of paper, or in a special book all its own.

The list of fives exercise is one to help you define yourself. You simply write down five things about you in a large category of topics. I will make some suggestions, but there is no rhyme or reason to it. There are no rules. Simply list things in groups of five - and generally the stranger the topic the better.

For example, list the first five people that you kissed romantically.

List the five best colors in a crayon box.

List your five favorite body parts in the opposite sex (or the one that most appeals to you.)

List five nicknames you were given in school.

List five places you'd like to have sex.

List five names you would like if you were brave enough to change your name.

List the five most attractive movie stars today.

List your five favorite comfort foods.

List five people you hope you never see again.

List five things you would tell Meg Ryan if you ever met her.

List five things you wish were for sale in the supermarket (that aren't for sale now)

List five events in your life you wish you could erase.

List five moments in your life you wish you could relive.

List the five best desserts on the planet.

List the five silliest jokes you can remember.

List the five funniest people you have ever met.

List five places you would like to visit.

The list goes on. This is a WONDERFUL journaling exercise but it is also a great way to get to know yourself. Consider doing this with a friend so that both of you answer the questions and compare. Try it, you'll love the results!
